Re: Details: The Yahoo-Twitter Partnership 2 weeks ago
Haven't most of these features been available for over a year now with Yahoo's MyBlogLog - and will Yahoo resurrect Yahoo Buzz?

Re: 2008/02/29/mybloglog-lifestreaming/ 8 months ago
Ouch - it wasn't apparent that this is a chargeable service until after I had signed up - LoudTwitter http://loudtwitter.com will back up your twitter account, on a daily basis, for free.Chris Lofthttp://twitery.wordpress.com

Re: 6 Twitter Games To Make Tweeting Fun 9 months ago
I would recommend the #haikuwordgame - players suggest words to use - up to five - then write haiku containing those words - excellent fun - just search for #haikuwordgame to see previous games, and how it is played.@christwitery

Re: Is Twitter a news system? (Scripting News) 11 months ago
That's very powerful citizen journalism. Dave Winer has put his finger on a news gathering resource with enormous potential.

Re: TinyChat Can Be the Glue for Your Social Networks a year ago
Very interesting. Enough to make me want to have a look at chat, which I have very much neglected. Esecially over such a wide range of social networking services.

Re: Retaggr adds Lifestreaming to their Ultimate Profile Service | Lifestream Blog a year ago
Thanks for the post, this is a great find - retaggr is a good, well laid-out aggregator. MyBlogLog and FriendFeed have better error checking when you enter your different services, retaggr will accept wrong account names. But an excellent life-streaming aggregator with lots of features.

Wow - much better now then. I wonder if @ev is still waiting for his bagel, he certainly deserves one.

Re: mouth full of tweets a year ago
Rats, just lost everything I just typed. I like what you are doing here, it's interesting. You must start tweeting from the moment you get up til when you go to bed. I've tried using LoudTwitter and found some success at http://chrisloft.wordpress.com/ - but two other attempts are not working properly, one at live journal, and another one that I've lost just at the moment. I don't tweet nearly as much a you though, need to improve the quality of my content a bit more.Sorry to hear about your father. My dad had a stroke a year or two ago and is very frail. My mum passed away last year- so I understand a bit what you are going through - stay strong and positive. Thanks for all of your input, it has been useful. Just thought I'd say hello, it's really hot in Adelaide this week, I don't think I'll get much sleep tonight.AdiosChris Loft

Louis and Mike, thanks for another informative, understandable post - I'm working my way through all of your suggestions. I added 'add this' while I was reading. Thanks for that too.adiosChris Loft

Re: louisgray.com: What FriendFeed Needs to Do To Grow and Keep New Users a year ago
I like FriendFeed just the way it is. For a 'lighter' version - you've always got plain old Twitter. More info for Newbies, their own room perhaps, and maybe a 'preconfigured' selection of friends, based on interests ready to be followed. I have always found the users on FriendFeed to be very helpful, when you get lost or off the track.I wonder if the folks at FriendFeed have any sense of urgency, at all - there does always seem to be subtle changes going on, as well as some responses to feedback. Just look at Twitter, no urgency there either.A 'who's online' feature would be useful.

Re: louisgray.com: Kakuteru - Roll Your Own FriendFeed On Your Own Site a year ago
I don't need to sign up for any more services. But this looks very interesting and I have nothing to do on this festive holiday. Thank you, Dominiek, Mike and Louis - this will make a nice Chrissy present and keep me occupied. Merry Christmas.

Re: louisgray.com: Strands Lifestreaming Beta High On Potential and Filters a year ago
Yes please. If you still have some invites left I will have a good look at this lifestreaming aggregator, everything seems to have its own little points of uniqueness.chrisloft@chrisloft.com

Re: louisgray.com: There is No Social Media Overload a year ago
This is an excellent perspective on the maze of new social media out there. I thought I may have been crazy trying to keep track of all these services, let alone signing up for new ones, but I keep doing it. Like RS says, maybe some of us are just ahead of our time; the train has barely left the station. Managing everything is the key. I like to see visual representations of social networks, but haven't found anything to plug my services into, to give me the visual feedback that I want - yet.Keep exploring and giving us your observations and insight.Adios from sunny South Australia

Re: The bookmarking system on FriendFeed a year ago
ahh . . . I wondered where I could find all my 'likes' . . . why didn't I think of looking there? Thanks for this info and for pointing out how to make an rss feed of this page.
