About Me
In 1999, Jan Van Blarcum, Ph.D. founded Creative Tutors. As an educator, Dr. Van Blarcum understood the importance of personalized attention in a child’s educational growth. Her passion for learning grew into a business that provides customized, one-on-one, in-home tutoring to children with a variety of learning needs. Every child receives personalized attention from certified/degreed educators.
A desire to provide these same quality services to children of all economic levels led Dr. Van Blarcum to open Creative Learning 4 Kids that same year. Using the same tutor pool of professional educators working with Creative Tutors, Creative Learning is able to provide the highest quality services to economically disadvantaged or at-risk children. Creative Learning was awarded temporary 501(c)(3) status and began serving children immediately. Through hard work and determination, Creative Learning has received its permanent 501(c)(3) status.
